Clara Pazzini strongly experiments in her songwriting and musical language with the concept of what a ‚category‘ means. Why do we constantly need to move within categories when diversity and fluid change, movement, are our most human core? DONNA has lost a lot, but she finds healing through music. She loves the Earth and the planet so much that she wants to bring people together through music to celebrate life and love, and to position herself democratically through this act. The first single, THRONE (released on April 24, 2024), is a pop track and the first release of the solo artist THE DONNA (the new persona of artist Clara Pazzini). The album (set for release in fall/winter 2024) and the idea for the persona THE DONNA arose from the internal struggle to find words, to find a musical language for the despair over this profit-driven world where dehumanization is taking up more and more space.
